A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

NOTICE 2:

I have created a separate project to upload the working build. I swear I have not changed anything about the game.

Fixed version: https://terrysaw.itch.io/meltdown-fixed

NOTICE:

When exporting the game I wanted to only include the necessary files so that the zip file wasn't so big, but accidentally selected to *exclude* all of the files selected, rather than *include only* the files selected. This means the game is unplayable.

I could have sworn I tested the last build I put up, but apparently not. I must have just had a lapse in memory considering how many builds I DID test. I never expected to get far in the judging in the first place, so I don't really care about that. But if I could humbly ask that if you are reading this page that you bookmark it and come back after I can fix it in about a weeks time. All I really want is for some people to play, have a little fun, and get a little feedback.

My submission for the Big Mode Game Jam 2025

Run around a strange power plant performing odd tasks to keep it running. If more than 4 tasks a meltdown will begin, if task count does not dip below 4 before the meltdown is complete, game over.

Keep the reactor from melting down during your shift.

hey, at least fix it and upload it again! Don't let your hard work go to waste! No big deal it won't be in the jam

I was under the impression that would be breaking the rules.

Upon reading over the jam rules again, I think I am wrong. I will upload a patched build.

you might wanna contact the admins and tell them about your situation, who knows
